Cap-Haitien : Gang member arrested at the airport
Monday Joseph Madly was arrested at Cap-Haïtien International Airport. He was preparing to leave the country under the Biden Administration's conditional stay in the USA program. He is accused of being an active member of the "Ti bwa" gang led by the nickname “Krisla”.

Massive attack in Saut-d’Eau

Gangs : Peace Initiative, rejected
Monday, Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry rejected the Peace initiative proposed by the coalitions of armed groups G-9 and G-pèp with a view to restoring Peace in the country, particularly in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince. "Gangs cannot make peace or live together. The bandits are assassins," insisted the Head of Government, condemning the recent armed attacks in Saut-d’Eau.

Date of nursing exam results
The Ministry of Public Health and Population informs nursing school officials and candidates that the results of the State exams for obtaining a license to practice will be published on Thursday, September 28. Following this publication, the Training Department (DPFSS) undertakes to issue practice permits within 3 to 4 weeks for successful candidates who request them in accordance with the established requirements.

UEH NOTICE : FAMV registrations postponed
The Deanship of the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) of the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs professors, members of the administrative and technical staff and applicants that depending on the situation which is rampant around the campus and delays observed in the registration process, the period chosen for its validation is postponed and will extend from Monday October 16 to Wednesday October 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The date chosen for the completion of the admission competition is set for Friday October 27, 2023. The Dean's Office asks all those concerned, in particular the members of the competition commission, to take all appropriate measures for the smooth running of activities at all levels.
