According to Amado Gutiérrez, President of the Dominican-Haitian Federation of Truckers, explains that Haitian businessmen import wood and cement from Turkey and ensure that the inventory in these product lines is sufficient until the third week of December.

Brazil, leader in the goods transport sector, supplies Haiti with wood;

China does the same with electrical appliances and hardware components. ;

Colombia also supplies Haiti with cement https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40503-haiti-flash-dr-closes-its-land-sea-and-air-borders-with-haiti-goods-and-passengers.html

Amado Gutiérrez expressed the need to resume commercial activities with Haiti, particularly in the construction sector and warned that the Dominican Republic ran the risk of losing this market if binational relations are not quickly restored and the trucking industry in both countries was endangered.
