Haiti - Politic : PRI wants to prevent the Prime Minister, to present its balance to Parliament
In a letter addressed to the coordinator of minority group [20 members], Parliamentarians for the Institutional Strengthening (PRI), Dieuseul Simon Desras, President of the Senate, invited his colleagues to reach an agreement with the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, in order to ensure the smooth running of the opening of the new legislative year scheduled Monday, January 14, 2013.

Remember that members of the PRI reproach among others, to the Prime Minister, not to submit himself to the control of Parliament and to postpone each invitations for various reasons... In retaliation, they intend to organize a concert of bells, horns and sirens, to prevent the Prime Minister, to present its balace before parliamentarians...

"I share the PRI claims on behalf of the people of the constituency they represent [...] However, in order to keep abreast of our convictions and remain in line with our mission of building the democratic order we call the protagonists to bury the hatchet and observe a truce to save the public peace and the protocol Republican [...]" says the Senator Desras in his letter.

Camping on their position, members of the PRI Friday declined an invitation of Prime Minister who wanted to meet them, justifying their refusal for a reason of agenda...

"This is not the right way" estimated the President of the Senate "so that they can evaluate the balance of the Prime Minister, parliamentarians must let him present it," hoping that a solution will be found by Monday, for the smooth running of the Assembly.
