Excerpts from the Speech of the Minister Auguste :
"[...] There is no better form of recognition of the human value and of the dignity of these women that give them the opportunity to reinvent itself and to accomplish in the liberation of their creative energies through the dramatization of their dramas, as an expedient therapeutic and means of social rehabilitation.

[...] it becomes necessary that for these women prisoners, the prison space instead of being a hospice, constitutes a place of positive thinking and creative, of learning of the fraternity, solidarity and of the civic action, that lead them to the end of their humanity to out socially rehabilitated.

It is in this sense, that takes all its scope the governmental action, designed to deploy and make play the appropriate mechanisms, so that in the concrete, it can be observed the gradual decline of the structural abnormality, that constitutes the prolonged pretrial detention and the improvement of the living environment of inmates.

[...] My Office has this requirement of consistency with the tasks assigned to it, it strives to ensure that the search for rule of law is reflected, by the constant pursuit of respect of human rights, including those of women [...] to put forward through the valorization of potentialities os these actresses of one day and perhaps of always , who are about to performs this morning.

[...] This is a big challenge to achieve, through a reintegration process, focused on taking into account of human dignity, to transforming beings, not necessarily inhuman but dehumanized, as citizens able to function in the social body, according to a new pattern of cohesion and a pact renewed of membership to the collective order. The prison must cease to be the tomb of souls born evil, this place of confinement drying, which enshrines the death of the dreams whose a convicted person may be a carrier, to provide inmates a window of opportunity.

[...] Today, by combining here, to the civil prison, to mark by a mini-show the commemoration of Women's Day, we signify our membership infallible to the cause of all Haitian women, outside the categorical preferences, based on push factors and of exclusion. Give full meaning to March 8, returns to make that the duty of commemorate, ead to recognize to all women, of whatever condition they are, the right to be part of the celebration."
