Friday, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, visited the reconstruction works of lycées Alexandre Pétion and Toussaint Louverture, which had been destroyed by the earthquake of January 2010.

The reconstruction of these two lycées, who trained several generations of young people from all sectors of national life, demonstrates the government's desire to offer a viable alternative to youth and provide the country with modern educational institutions.

The lycées will house each, several pavilions and laboratories, libraries, sports fields, of air-conditioned classrooms, auditoriums and parking.

The Lycée Alexandre Pétion of Bel-Air almost bicentennial will include 37 classrooms.

While the Lycée Toussaint Louverture of the street of Centre will have 42.
