Haiti - Tourism : 3 tourism projects for Petit-Goâve

Wednesday, following the passage in Petit Goâve, in August 2013, of Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, who had discovered the tourism potential of the town and promised to contribute to the development of this sector in the city ; a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, composed of Louis Actrice, Isaac Benoit, Pierre jean Thaylor accompanied by the Mayor of town Sandra Jules and Deputy Mayor Mr. Domigo Simprix has made ​​an exploratory visit of various tourist attractions in Petit-Goâve, in the context of tourism development in the country.

It is in this perspective, according to Mayor Sandra Jules, that 3 projects will begin in the coming days in order to make Petit-Goâve a tourist destination. These are: the development of the public beach "Mon repos" ; the construction at the bottom of the street Louverture extended, of a pier that can accommodate tourists and the renovation of the beach of pier that can accommodate tourists and the renovation of the beach and that of Banana Beach Cocoyer.and that of Cocoyer Beach.

In addition, Sandra Jules thanked Minister Villedrouin for her vision, dynamism and commitment and contribution to the recovery of tourism nationally.

Recall that the town of Petit-Goâve abounds of historical tourist sites whose among others : Fort Liberté, Fort Royal, Fort Garry as many natural sites whose the beach of Bananier, Cocoyer Beach...
