Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry of Tourism, presented to mark his two years as head of the Ministry Tourism of the Destination Nord, a Conference-Assessment which revolved around four main axes of intervention: structuring projects (in terms of basic infrastructure and training) ; Development of the North Destination by the internal and external promotion ; event creation (hence the concept of event tourism) and the strengthening of the institution (of the Office in terms of human resources) and the formation of human resources evolving in the Destination North.

In her speech, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne declared "[...] as Director of that institution in the Northern Region of the country, I feel immense pleasure to present a balance of some of the projects and activities that together, we we have achieved for the development of the Tourist destination par excellence, the North I love, the North again, the North forever !

[...] To my Minister Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin and all its teal I send my sincere thanks, to the Government Martelly-Lamothe, I also say a big thank you. To the memebers of the Organization of Management of the Destination (OGD) and CECI-Haiti, to the public and private sectors : Thank you ! I thank in a special way the various and tireless executives and support staff of the Regional Office North of the Ministry of Tourism, to whom I renew my full commitment [...] you saw me demonstrate during these two years, that really it is in team that we wins. Thank you !"
