Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers in particular and the population in general that, as part of the rehabilitation of the Central of Hydroelectric plant of Péligre, the hours power will be greatly reduced in the metropolitan area this Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This cur is programmed to facilitate underwater work that can not be carried out without a complete shutdown of the plant.

The EDH understands that this unexpected reduction represents a major inconvenience for its customers and ensure it that all measures will be taken to restore service and not exceed the deadline.

The Electricity of Haiti relies on the patience and understanding of the population and reaffirms it its determination to work for better access to electricity, while promising to keep it informed.
