In addition, the Head of State announced to Stevenson, that he will be appointed Goodwill Ambassador during his next visit to the country, an honor that already have shared Sean Penn and Wyclef Jean. Stevenson was also decorated for the occasion of the National Order Honor and Merit.

Stevenson, visibly moved to receive such an honor, thanked the President Martelly with great modesty.
