Thursday, President Michel Martelly and his wife Sophia Martelly, received 3,000 childrenat the National Palace in a festive atmosphere as a prelude to Christmas, in the presence of several managers in public administration.

This activity, organized for 3 years by the Office of the First Lady, in the form of recreational day for children from disadvantaged strata, was an opportunity for the Head of State to testify once more, his love and solidarity towards smaller and encourage them to stay on the path of education "I am happy to spend this festive time with you, my children. I wish to ask you to make education your first choice. I love you," declared the President Martelly.

Imbued with the spirit of sharing, the Presidential Couple distributed toys to all the children present, including dozens with special needs and shared with them moments of pleasure and happiness. Children played, danced and ate before leaving happy with their gifts "Thank you President", they launched in unison.

On the occasion of the celebrations of Christmas and New Year, the President of the Republic and First Lady formulate their wishes for health and happiness to all the children of Haiti.
