Sunday, on tour in the town of Grande Saline, Marie Félix Mimose, Minister Delegate for Promotion of Peasantry, distributed within the framework of launching of the Winter crop more than 2000 bean seed kits, of fishing equipment and food kits (panye solidarity) to farmers in the presence of Departmental Delegate of Artibonite, Jean Michel Auguste, of Wagner Joseph, Deputy Delegate of the Borough of Marchand Dessalines and Badens Pierre, Mayor holder of Grande Saline.

This distribution campaign on the eve of Christmas and New year, is part of the activities of "Kore Peyizan", a sub programs of "Ede Pèp" social program financed by funds from the Treasury through the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), to improve access to food for the poorest populations.

On this occasion, Minister Felix took the opportunity to distribute hot meals to hundreds of very vulnerable people within the activities of mobile restaurant.

Farmers of Grande Saline did not hide their joy nor failed to thank the government for this assistance program in this end of year holiday season and the start of the winter cropping season.
