The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, on the sidelines of a toy distribution in north of Port-au-Prince, has denied the rumor that suggested a cabinet reshuffle earlier this year, saying "there is not change in depth shortly in government."

However, the Prime Minister left the door open to possible changes in the coming months, explaining that in a team,there may be a number of members that can be changed.

Changes that can find at least two explanations, one for the management of ministries based on the results, in accordance with the Statement of General Policy of the Prime Minister and several times already applied since the accession to power of President Martelly ; and the other a strictly electoral character, which aims to put in the background some ministers, priority targets for the opposition in order to make them less effective the anti-government strategies, in the approach of elections.
