Thursday, the President Michel Martelly, commemorated the Ancestors' Day at the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon.

The ceremony, punctuated by a floral offering and a time of reflection, took place in the presence, amon others, of members of the Cabinet, the President of the Senate of the Republic, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the President of the Supreme Court and the Director General and members of the command of the PNH.

It was an opportunity for the Head of State to reaffirm its determination to organize fair and free democratic elections in the country in 2014.

The ceremony of Ancestors' Day ended with a parade of different units of the National Police of Haiti in the area of ​​the Champ de Mars.
