Haiti - Sports : Results of the 2nd edition of the Marathon Let’s Go Haiti 07/01/2014 09:00:17
Several countries, including the United States, Canada, Turkey Islands (Turck and Caicos Islands) participated in this Marathon whose objectives were to promote Haiti internationally, to educate Haitians on importance of athletics prove to the world that Haiti was a place where international athletes could come running without any worry. About fifty athletes coming among other from Haiti, the United States, Canada, Islands Turck and Caicos Islands have participated in this Marathon 42 km (departing from Terrier Rouge, arrived on the boulevard of Cap-Haitien) Results Men category : 1 Astrel Clovis (Haiti) [110,000 Gourdes] 2nd Fiefie Dorfils (Haiti) [66,000 Gourdes] 3 Baptiste Jean Robert (Haiti] [33,000 Gourdes] 4th Fiefie Bless Jean (Haiti) [22,000 Gourdes] 5th Pierre Evil (Haiti] [13,200 Gourdes] Results Women category : 1st Bertine Lainé(Turck and Caicos Islands) [110,000 Gourdes] 2nd Carline Lamour (Turck and Caicos Islands) [66,000 Gourdes] 3rd Lynn Robynson (Turck and Caicos Islands) [33,000 Gourdes] 4th Olgine Thelamon [22,000 Gourdes] 5th Frédeline Solomon [13,200 Gourdes]  "Their victory is the result of perseverance, discipline and determination," said the coach, Gérard Cassamajor at the delivery of premiums.
