Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe met at the Primature, the 10 Departmental Delegates of the country. The objectives of the meeting were to coordinate with the Head of Government the action to stimulate and disseminate the development policy of the government at the regional level to further popularize the government's achievements and initiatives of Delegates.

The Prime Minister also Minister of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), also wanted to strengthen existing links between the different representatives of the Executive, for better monitoring of government programs, including communal Fund which now aim to enable the population in the communes and communal sections of the ten departments of the country to pursue their full development.

Indeed, under these programs to facilitate the development of communes, that are the communal fund, and whose a presentation was made at the meeting at the Primature, by the coordinator of the Funds, Mr. Johnny Célestin, 161 projects for the new fiscal year 2012-2013 have already been received by the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), which, for its part, encourages local authorities to propose the types of projects related to public facilities, the public infrastructure, emergency preparedness, protection and management of the environment and cultural development.

The Prime Minister urged the departmental delegates to constitute a continuing coordination with public services, decentralized and / or autonomous to ensure better orientation and more effective monitoring of the governmental action.

On the basis of constitutional prerogatives, the Delegates appointed by the Head of State, must in their respective geographic departments, work to to closer the state to the population in facilitating the development of regions that deserve special attention and which booms are undoubtedly a key factor for economic growth of Haiti.

Finally, this meeting helped to set with the Head of Government, the main lines of the governmental action for the new year 2014 in order to continue to improve the living conditions of the population.
