This Thursday morning will be held a ceremony of delivery of a donation from U.S. government to the Haitian government.

On behalf of the Southern Command of the Armed Forces of the United States (USSOUTHCOM), the Office of Security Cooperation in the Embassy of the United States of America in Port-au-Prince (OSC-Haiti) will donate 12 emergency response vehicles to the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety for use by the Association of Voluntary Firemen Haitians (ASPOVH) and 12 flat bottom Search and Rescue Boats to the Ministry of Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), which will be used by the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC).

These vehicles and boats are additional supports that aim to strengthen the capacity to respond in case of emergency.
