Haiti - Tourism : Things are moving everywhere ! 24/01/2014 12:12:12
Thursday Karine Condé, the Departmental Director South, accompanied by the Deputy of Saint Louis du Sud ; of Grandhy Dorfeuille, mayor of the municipality and representatives of the Company G&B Design Construction, officially launched the project to develop the beach Morisseau, of Saint Louis du Sud. During her speech, Mrs. Condé urged the population to collaborate with the team of G&B Desing Construction, for the success of the project. New Director of the Hotel School of Haiti Thursday, Maryse Noël, General Director of the Ministry of Tourism, proceeded in the premises of the Hotel School of Haiti (EHH), to the installation of Sandra Tanis as the new Administrator of the Hotel School. In her speech of circumstances, Ms. Noël, stressed "We are in a process of upgrading the Hotel School of Haiti. The obligations are huge to achieve vital results for the industry." For her part, Ms. Tanis hoped the cooperation and support of all to make the Hotel School a school of choice emphasizing "a trained staff when the Haitian tourism is promising is essential. I will work to make more dynamic the ezforts made by the Ministry." Note that prior to hold this position, Ms. Sandra Tanis, offered his services to the American Airlines (AA). Jacmel Carnaval 2014 This week, a meeting organized by the cell Jacmel carnival was held in the Town Hall of Jacmel, in the presence of Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, e Departmental Director of Tourism South East who took the opportunity to expose the involvement of the Ministry and of the Tourism Association of South-East for the carnival of Jacmel, which will take place this year on Sunday 23 February, around the theme "Pote Kole pou n avanse". 17 pages devoted to Haiti... In its latest issue, the renowned magazine "Conde Nast Traveler" devoted 17 pages to the destination Haiti. Follow-up visit of projects in the South... Carine Beauvoir, the responsible of monitoring at the level of development projects in the Ministry of Tourism, made a 48-hours visit in the Southern Department. The purpose of this tour was to evaluate the projects running and ensure the continuity of works. The tourist market in Les Cayes, the Cave Marie Jeanne Port à Piment, the Beach Dauphinée in Port Salut, the Beach Gelée in Les Cayes, and the Beach Morisseau of Saint louis du Sud, are some of the various projects under developments.
