Haiti - Security : Words of Sympathy from the Minister Delegate in Charge of Human Rights 10/02/2014 08:36:53 "This heinous crime against a human rights activist and his wife will under no circumstances be tolerated. Formal instructions have already be passed o the authorities concerned to find the culprits and bring them to justice [...] This crime will not remain unpunished. The Government is committed to supporting the families of the victims in their quest for justice. The Office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister Responsible for Human Rights and the Fight against Extreme Poverty bows to the remains of the couple and presents its condolences to his hree children, parents and relatives of the victims and POHDH." UPDATE : "The Presidency of the Republic, on behalf of the entire Government extends its deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones [...] While recognizing the efforts of the National Police of Haiti to ensure a climate of acceptable security in the country, the President called the police to exercise more vigilance and presence to overcome these criminals and barbarians.
