Haiti - Economy : Former President Bill Clinton in Haiti 15/02/2014 10:21:20
Schedule : (Subject to change) Monday, February 17 : Bill Clinton, accompanied by David Crane, the CEO of NRG Energy, Maryse Kedar, Founder of Prodev, Caroline Sada, President of Ayiti Natives, Pastor Jean Heleur and community leaders, the Union Des Apotres – Prodev School, the solar installation and the garden. The Clinton Foundation has been working with the school to support tree planting and gardening activities. Tuesday, February 18 : Former U.S. President, will tour the plant Sustainable Recycling Solutions (SRS Haiti) and see the recycling process. He will be accompanied by Andrew MacCalla and Brett Williams, the Co-Founders of SRS, and Mike Shinoda, the lead singer of Linkin Park and a major investor, will join the President. Bill Clinton will make an announcement during this visit. Subsequently, President Clinton will visit the company Industrial Revolution II (IRII), a new apparel manufacturer in SONAPI Industrial Park that invests 50% of profits into their workers, their families and the local community. The President will be joined by Joey Adler, Founder of IRII, Rob Broggi, CEO of IRII, and Jeff Lahl, Plant Manager. HL/ HaitiLibre
