Haiti - Justice : Meeting between the Interministerial Committee on Human Rights and the CSPJ 16/02/2014 09:29:41 This meeting was an opportunity for Marie Carmelle Rose Anne Auguste, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, in charge of Human Right and the fight against extreme poverty to present the CIDP, its mission, responsibilities and the different ministries and agencies that compose it. Discussions were held around the justice reform, of the ratification of international instruments in the fight against prolonged pretrial detention and the promotion of human rights, particularly economic, social and cultural rights. Issues relating to the Civil status, access to information, rural safety and security of the courts were also discussed. Speaking of judicial reform, the Minister Auguste felt that the CSPJ had had an important role to play in this regard. Learn more about the CIDP : Established in May 2013, the CIDP,'s mission is to ensure the cohesion of government interventions for the gradual reduction of poverty and exclusion.
