aiti - Social : Operation «Give a book to the city of Gonaïves»

After two major floods in 2004 and 2008, the document collection of libraries of Gonaïves has dropped considerably. To remedy this situation, the Association Tonnelle Action Haïti (ATA Haïti) had the original idea of organizing a marathon of the book, during the three days of celebration of National Carnival to be held in Gonaïves 2, 3 and 4 March. The Association invites all members of governments and all citizens who participate in the carnival festivities, to give a book to the city, for the youth gonaïvienne.

To participate, buy a book in a bookstore or take one in your home no matter, what matters is to participate and do not forget your book when coming in Carnival.

"ATA Haïti" will process your donations and deliver them to needy libraries. The results of this marathon of the book will be released the week after Carnival.

RPs of the books : Place d'Armes, in front of the building of the Town Hall of Gonaïves in the street Fabre Geffrard ; in " Kjou Snack Bar", on the street Henri Christophe and in the Town Hall of Ennery.
