Following the exploratory mission that the Government has realized in ​​Bernagousse (Grand Anse), through the Office of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister Responsible for Human Rights and the Fight against Poverty Extreme, 3 and 4 April 2014, to study the possibility of implementing in this communal section of Pestel, of a manufacturing project of Green Bio Briquettes using agricultural and household waste.

This project aims to offer farmers an alternative to charcoal, generate jobs but also contribute to address the issue of deforestation and reduce the vulnerability of the zone face to the climate change. The peasants of Bernagousse welcomed this project with great interest.

This pilot project will be extended later to other parts of the country.
