Haiti - Elections: Opening of the first Operation Centers and Verification

The UN Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (MINUSTAH) on Thursday welcomed the establishment of Operation Centers and Verification (Centres d’Opération et de Vérification COV) in several regions of the country whose Artibonite, South and Grande-Anse. Vincenzo Pugliese, the deputy spokesman of the UN mission, said that the centers of operation and audit will allow voters, including displaced persons, to fulfill their civic duty.
Vincenzo Pugliese call upon all citizens, with their identity card to travel to the COV to confirm where they will have to vote next November 28th. The establishment of these COV was made possible through the support of the Electoral Unit of MINUSTAH.
