Haiti - Politic : The Prime Minister pays tribute to Haitian workers

Thursday in Damien, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe accompanied by Charles Jean Jacques, Minister of Social Affairs and Thomas Jacques, Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, has launched, before an enthusiastic crowd the annual agribusiness fair held at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Head of Government paid tribute to Haitian workers who, according to him, contribute significantly to change the country and promised to work with the various State bodies to develop a new labor code, able to meet the one hand, the aspirations of employees and on the other hand the interests of entrepreneurs, in order to sustain and grow jobs across the country.

Prime Minister Lamothe is also returned on the difficult task of the Martelly Administration, which consists to change the living conditions of the population declaring "We found a sick country with the coming to power of President Michel Martelly. We quickly got to work to find concrete solutions to the concerns of the people and now you can judge by yourself the results," under the applause of a huge crowd came to listen him.

Moreover, citizens who participated in this great agricultural fair showed their gratitude to the administration Martelly and to the Lamothe government that they call to continue to work for the most vulnerable for the emergence of a more just and supportive society.
