Haiti - Economy : D-1 of 1st Haitian American Business Forum

Thursday, May 8, at the Karibe Convention Center, the American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AmCham Haiti), will host from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m., the 1st Haitian American Business Forum. This important event, to which associate the Haitian government, Chambers of Commerce and Haitian socio-professional organizations in the United States, aims on the one hand to allow Haitians in the diaspora to master the channels leading to the establishment of a business in Haiti and on the other hand allow to connect the Haitian institutional organizations in the United States with institutional organizations in Haiti to better direct investment, information, establish contacts and partnerships and much more...

Among the speakers at the forum include :

President Michel Martelly ; Paul Altidor , Ambassador of Haiti to the United States ; Philippe R. Armand, President of AmCham Haiti ; Pamela White, U.S. Ambassador in Haiti ; Norma Powell , Director of Investment Facilitation Center (CFI ) ; Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries ; Wilson Laleau Minister of Trade and Industry; Senator of Nippes Jocelerme Privert, President of the Senate Finance and Budget Commission ; François Guillaume II, the new Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) ; Jeff Lozama, Vice President of Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce Of Florida ; Firmin Backer, President of Haiti Renewal Alliance; Ludovic Comeau, Professor at Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies of Haiti ; Serge Renaud, President National Association of Haitian Professionals ; Eliacin C.
