Karl Jean-Louis, Director of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, went to Jérémie, on the instructions of Prime Minister Lamothe to monitor the commitments made by the Government.

In the presence of local and regional directors of different ministries, the Director of Cabinet of Prime Minister, proceeded Thursday, May 8 at a ceremony at the Departmental delegation of Grand Anse, to the delivery of 67 checks of compensation to victims of the fire, which destroyed several business houses in the heart of the historic center of the city, on March 22. A financial assistance essential to the resumption of economic activities in the city of Jérémie.

The Prime Minister promised those affected to assist them and kept his promise. A move warmly welcomed by the beneficiaries.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Director of Cabinet of Prime Minister, visited the computer labs offered by the government to the journalists' association of Grand Anse, as well as various institutions of the city, such as the Police Station, the Lycée des jeunes filles, the Lycée Nord Alexis and the Faculty of Nursing of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
