This Tuesday at the Hotel Oasis, in the context of the Government's engagement with the Haitian people, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, in the presence of Rose Anne Auguste, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and the fight against extreme poverty, and Charles Jean Jacques, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, will launch the Action Plan for the Acceleration of the Poverty Reduction (PAARP) "Think and fight for a Haiti without poverty".

This document is also a vibrant testimony of the ommitment of the Government of the Republic to fight against extreme poverty. The PAARP is the result of a coordination of the various sectoral ministries working to reduce poverty. It is an overview of the socio-economic situation and presents the priority projects under implementation. Declined over three years, it target the the most vulnerable stata of the population and framework the government action in the social sector. Projects included in the plan are of national scope and will be extended to the whole territory.
