Haiti - Politic : 3rd anniversary of the accession to power of President Martelly

3 days after its creation, the "Parti Haïtien Tèt Kale" (PHTK) joins the celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the accession to power of President Michel Martelly and said in a statement : "This May 14 marks three-year of commitment and relentless struggle to meet the immediate needs of the general population, the poor, the disadvantaged and victims of the earthquake of 12 January 2010 in particular.

The PHTK took the opportunity of this 3rd anniversary to salute the courage and sacrifice of activists and supporters who have contributed to the historic victory of the candidate Martelly to the presidential elections in 2010. The renewal of political staff, through regular and fair elections is a sign of democratic consolidation and political stability necessary to investments and the creation of productive employment in our country.

The 'Parti Haïtien Tèt Kale' resents its best wishes to the Presidential Couple and guarantees him its unwavering commitment to the values and vision driven by the victory of May 14, 2011."

For his part, the President Martelly says on social networks,that today is not his birthday, but that of a new Haitian political movement, noting that "The road already traveled to get to this May 14, 2014, three years after my accession to the helm of the State, commits me further to provide welfare to the Haitian people. The changes here and there are palpable. Much remains to be done, however, my determination to move forward is proportional to the challenges."

Last Sunday, at the Gymnasium Champs de Mars in Cap-Haitien, the President Martelly has launched his political party "Parti Haïtien Tet Kale" (PHTK) in the presence of Executive members of the Presidential Party and thousands of supporters from the 19 municipalities of the Northern Department. During his speech, the Head of State reiterated its commitment to work to change the lives of the Haitian people by focusing on the organization of the forthcoming elections and stressed "The Party is not me the Party is you [...] the strength of a political party not only depends on its leaders, but it depends on the vision and the work it does [...] We do not ask our activists to take to the streets to prove our strength, moreover, it is said that the force is calm."
