The United States Government has partnered with the Haiti Renewal Alliance for the 5th Annual Business Investment Expo & Conference. The event is being organized by USAID’s Leveraging Effective Application of Direct Investments (LEAD) and will take place June 5th – 7th, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.

This Expo is part of the series of road shows launched by LEAD to inform stakeholders of the main objectives of the program which include providing information to the Diaspora about investing in Haiti, leveraging investments from investment institutions and engaging the Diaspora to increase the development impact of remittances. It is a premier gathering of key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, investors, entrepreneurs and NGOs to share experiences on sustainable development. This year’s expo has broadened its reach to target members of the Caribbean Diaspora who are interested in investing in emerging markets.
