Haiti - Security : First promotion of first-aiders in Cap-Haitien
Friday, the First Lady of the Republic, Sophia Martelly, participated in the ceremony of certificates for the first promotion of first-aiders of Movement Tèt Kale (MTK) of Cap-Haitien.

These 183 recipients who received solid training for three months and successfully completed their studies, are now able to come to the aid of their fellow.

The First Lady, sponsor of this promotion that bears his name, invited them to put into practice what they have learned and to make themselves available to help "Being a first-aider is to have the opportunity to put themselves at the service of others by making good actions. Before being First Lady, I always had this desire to help when the need arose," declared Sophia Martelly.



The first promotion is part of an initiative of the Movement Tèt Kale (MTK), aiming to contribute to the training of youth in the 10 departments of the country. Another promotion, bringing together students from all communes of the North, due out very soon, in order to better meet the needs of this population.
