Tuesday, the President Michel Martelly, in the presence of Klaus Eberwein, Director General of Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) and the Ambassador of Haiti in Taiwan, Tsai Chiu Hwang, officially proceeded, to the symbolic handing-over of the keys for families of the locality of Larco, in the city of Les Cayes (South).

These housing units have a total capacity of 400 people. Each unit includes 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a common area (kitchen and dining room). Carried out under a program aimed at supporting vulnerable families in the country, this housing construction project amounting $2.28 million, was made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Taiwan.

The Head of State invited on this occasion, the beneficiaries to make good use of these new housing units.
