The Government has welcomed the results of the latest poll conducted by Brides, which reveals that under the Martelly administration and the Government Lamothe, 30.71% women occupy decision-making positions in the public administration.

The Government sees in this proportion of women in decision-making positions, the result of its policy implemented, through the Ministry of Women and Women's Rights and the Office of the Deputy Minister in charge of human rights and the fight against extreme poverty, for equality between men and women, the equal professional equality and the fight against gender violence.

While welcoming the result of this survey, "the Government reiterates its commitment to continue to guarantee the rights of women and to increase them at all levels for the emergence of a more just, egalitarian society based on republican values."
