Haiti - NOTICE : Lifting of the ban on the sale of two drugs

Dr. Florence Duperval Guillaume, Minister of Public Health and Population (MSPP) inform the general public, health professionals and owners of private pharmaceutical companies in particular, that the ban of use since late May, due to a strong suspicion of counterfeit products on the Haitian market, on the pharmaceutical products, BACTOCLAV and AUGMENTIN is now removed https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11237-haiti-notice-two-drugs-banned-from-sale-in-haiti.html

"However, in order to protect the health of the population, the Ministry reminds owners of importing agencies, drug stores, pharmacies, private as well as public responsible of health institutions, the obligation imposed on them to respect scrupulously the standards and procedures related to import, distribution and sale of drugs.

The Ministry also reminds owners and managers of pharmacies the need to strictly ensure the safety of all products purchased and distributed to the public through a regular supply in distributors legally recognized by the MSPP.

The ministry relies on the collaboration of all health professionals for the implementation of this measure."
