Haiti - Tourism : Extensive working sessions in MTIC
Monday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) and Maryse Noel its Director General had several working sessions with the departmental directors Dieudonne L. Etienne (North), Karine Condé (South) and Dithny Joan Raton (Southeast).

Credit holidays
A reflection was shared with the Haitian People's Bank (BPH) headed by Ms Gesly Lévêque, Director General and Ms. Myriam Jean the Deputy Director General, of the project "Credit holidays", an initiative of MTIC, which allows employees to find in Haiti special accommodation deals in hotels, hostels, campsites, to leave on a family vacation and pay for their stay in installments with credit.

Extension of credit taxi car
Led by Maryse Noel the meeting with the Banque Nationale de Credit (BNC) represented by Fernand Robert Pardo, Vice-President of the Board of Directors and the BPH allowed to provide an update on the credit granted to taxi cars drivers. There was discussed the possibility of granting the loan to three-wheeled motorcycles taxi drivers for the communes of Jacmel and Les Cayes.

Sanitation problem
The meeting with the mayors of the municipalities of Carrefour, Léogâne and Gressier, allowed to see the efforts of the mayor of Carrefour, Jude Edouard Pierre in the field of sanitation, to study in consultation, the current situation in these municipalities, to note the deficiencies often deplored by citizens and tourists and try to draw sketches of solutions to the most pressing problems.

Signage and projects for the South and South-East
Signage of South and South-East regions was discussed. The Park "la visite" of Marigot and pedestrian routes, the development of the entry of Jacmel, the renovation of the St. Anne square (Jacmel), the second phase of development of Bassin Bleu and the development projects of Bassin Bleu and of Raymond-les-Bains, are the projects selected for the department of south-east.

Finally, with Departmental Directors with the Directorate of the Unit of Research and Planning (UEP) directed by Andy Durosier have programmed the Ministry's activities in the region for the next three months.
