Haiti - Music : Boulpik back from his first European tour 19/06/2014 13:51:45
The European press has given a very favorable welcome to the first CD "Kompa Lakay" of the group, released in early May, under the label Lusafrica, well known for having introduced the world the talents of the capverdienne, Cesaria Evora or the Cuban Polo Montañez. Le Monde welcomes "the musical charm of Boulpik" while Libération, predicted that "we have not finished talking about their music twoubadou." In Paris, the group was received by RFI, Africa No. 1, Radio Nova, Radio Overseas Première, Espace FM and Tropiques FM. Back in Haiti since last week, Boulpik now hope that the Haitian public, the press and the relevant institutions, will also be sensitive to the work of more than 10 years materialized in his first CD "Kompa Lakay". The group will be Friday, June 20, on sale signature at the French Institute in Haiti, 99, avenue Lamartinière, Bois Verna, at 7:00 pm (Free admission). Note that Boulpik performs every Sunday afternoon at the hotel Visa Lodge from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm HL/ HaitiLibre
