Haiti - Music : Tour in Haiti of American musical group Mo'Mojo
The American musical group Mo'Mojo will tour in Haiti for the first time from July 1 to July 5 as part of a cultural program sponsored by the U.S. Embassy. These programs support closer ties between the peoples of the two countries through shared music, art, and sports.

Previous programs have included tours by popular American artists such as the "Soul Rebels" and "Step Afrika" to Haiti and tours of popular Haitian artists including "Belo" and “Ti-Coca with Wanga-Nègès” in the USA.

The Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince invites music lovers of all ages to attend one of the concerts that "Mo'Mojo" group will be giving.



Admission to the shows is free, and the dates are:

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014: 7:00 pm; at Kokoye Bar and Grill, located at #1, Delmas 31.

Wednesday, July 2, 2014: 8:00 pm, the Gardens of the National Television of Haiti located at the corner of Delmas 33 and Delmas Road. This show will be broadcast live on TNH (channel 8, VHF).

Friday, July 4, 2014: 7:00 pm; Place Boyer, Petion-Ville. This show will be broadcast live on Radio Tele Ginen (Channel 18 UHF / DCATV 69).

Mo'MoJo is composed of 7 musicians and is headed by two women singers. They have performed concerts around the world for about six years. Mo 'Mojo is a hard-driving, high energy, Zydeco-based “Party-Gras” Band. The band plays accordion, fiddle, guitar, rubboard, sax, trumpet, harp, bass, percussion, and drums.
