Despite the election of Max Mathurin, a representative of the Parliament, at the Presidency of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Senators of G6 continues to assert that the CEP does not inspire confidence and is not constitutional and do not intend to change their position.

For Senator Moïse Jean-Charles, a member of G6, the amendment of the electoral law and the CEP is no longer to the agenda of G6. For him, the priority is to first solve the appointment of judge Wendelle Coq, as Vice-President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) appointment he considers "illegal" despite a unanimous designation by the members of the CSPJ. The Senator Moïse Jean-Charles is convinced that this appointment aims to ensure the executive the control of the CEP. He also criticizes the Senator Desras, the President of the Senate, to have participated alongside President Martelly to the installation of the judge Wendelle Coq. Finally, it regrets that political actors seek to return now in the hands of the Senate and more precisely to senators of G6, the responsibility for ending the crisis.

For his part, Senator Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé, a member of G6 considers that "The electoral law will be amended when we sill back in the constitutionality," adding "We demand a CEP that inspires confidence under Article 289 [.. .] We the group of 6 senators, want to give an example of good citizenship, patriotism and respect for the law. We want to give an example for future generations [...]"
