Haiti - Politic : Communal Fund, more than 1.2 billion Gdes already disbursed 06/08/2014 11:27:31
The Office of Communication of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE) informed that within the framework of the implementation of projects through the "Communal Fund" in the country's 10 departments for the fiscal year 2012-2013, more than 180 projects that meet the criteria set by the government, have been filed, analyzed and are being implemented by local authorities of different communes. These projects whose only 4% are managed by the MPCE are divided into 5 categories: Public Facilities, Public Infrastructure, Emergency Preparedness, Safety and environmental management and cultural facilities.
According to the details that Laurent Lamothe as Minister of Planning and External Cooperation gave Monday to the Standing Committee "Economy and Finance" of the Chamber of Deputies https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11747-haiti-politic-laurent-lamothe-before-the-economy-and-finance-commission-of-deputies.html , on an envelope of one billion four hundred twenty million gourdes for the year 2012-2013, an amount of 1,276,803,780 Gourdes is already disbursed and it remains to disburse 143 million gourdes for the execution of these projects, the masters of works are the MPCE, the Ministry of Public works, Transport and Communications and the Office of monetization of programs of development assistance (BMPAD).
