Haiti - Economy : Lower House voted unanimously the Budget 2014-2015

On Saturday, the Chamber of Deputies after having approved the Report of the Commission "Economy and Finance" [52 votes in favor, 5 against and 2 abstentions] voted the text article by article, and then voted unanimously the draft Finance Bill 2014-2015, which amounted to 122.6 billion Gourdes. Text that will now be forwarded to the Senate for ratification in the same terms...
Should be pointed out that the Commission "Economy and Finance", chiared by the deputy Cholzer Chancy, made several changes to the budget, mainly the disaffection of over 3 billion gourdes reassigned to agriculture, infrastructure and education and the maintenance of the subsidy for petroleum products, responsible for 6.9 billion Gourdes deficit.
