Haiti - Education : back to school, first problem

Whereas the Ministry of Education fixed the back to school official date on October 4, several principals of private schools require their students to begin their school year in September.
Joshua Mérilien, General Coordinator of the Union Nationale des Normaliens Haïtiens (UNNOH), denounce the non-denounce of the calendar of the Ministry, and accuses these principals to want to oblige the parents to pay one month of additional schooling. The coordinator asks the Minister of education to make his own investigation and to force these private schools to respect the date of return to school.
