Haiti - Economy : The SONAPI promotes the potential of Haiti to Las Vegas

The National Society of Industrial Parks (SONAPI), represented by Me Georges May Figaro, member of the Office of Director General and Legal Advisor of the SONAPI, the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI), the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) and the Society of Industrial Development (CODEVI) among others, are part of a large Haitian delegation participating in the United States at the World Fair Sourcing at Magic in Las Vegas (17 to 20 August 2014), an event that allows exchanges between suppliers, direct and indirect customers in the textile sector in particular.

SONAPI take advantage of this major event, to sell the project to expand the industrial park, enhance the market potential of the production in Haiti and lobbying companies wishing to invest in Haiti in order to promote the creation of jobs and wealth in the country.

"Under my administration, the National Society of Industrial Parks will know a growth that will make the difference in the industrial sector and put Haiti in a prime position in the Caribbean. We will go anywhere where are the potential investors to promote SONAPI," declared Jose Bernard Schettini, the Director General of the SONAPI since 2013.
