The new Director General, Giovanni Dorélien and the two Secretaries of State Michel Présumé and Robert Labrousse, announced at the forum, various measures to be taken to revitalize their ministry.

Among the measures announced in this forum should be mentioned :

• The revision of the Organic Law of Ministry to be tabled in Parliament ;

• The finalization of the revision of the draft law on the establishment and functioning of NGOs in Haiti ;

• The reconsideration of the national policy on development cooperation with the involvement and participation of all stakeholders ;

• The revision of mechanism "Framework for Coordination of External Aid to the Haiti Development (CAED)" to achieve real effectiveness of aid ;

• Finalizing the document called "Policy Framework for National Planning and the draft Law on Spatial Planning and Local Development" ;

• The preparation of the Master Land Use.
