As part of the ongoing reforms initiated within the Ministry and the education system in general to improve governance and the quality of education, Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP ) just make several changes at the technical directorates of the ministry. In total, more than thirty promotions, appointments and transfers were made. On Friday, the Minister has proceeded with the installation of these high officials, among the most important changes include :

Promotions :

Booz Philippe Pierre, Coordinator at the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE), promoted, is now in charge of the pole Planning, School Engineering and Human Resources at MENFP;

Pléteau Jackson, Director of Secondary Education, promoted, is now in charge of the pole Education and quality at MENFP;

Jacques François, Assistant Director, Directorate of Human Resources, promoted Director to the Directorate of Human Resources;

Maurice Job, coordinator of special education and social support (CASAS), promoted, became Director of Secondary Education.

Appointments :

Jacques Reid was appointed Director of Planning and External Cooperation;

Ms. Farah Martine Lhérisson Lamothe is appointed Director to the Directorate of Training and Development (DFP).

Transfers :

Volvick Charles Germain, Director of Basic Education, is transferred as Director in the Directorate of support to private education and partnership (DAEPP);

Jean Wilnor Pierre, Director of the Directorate of support for private education and partnership is transferred as Director to the Directorate of Fundamental Education.
