Haiti - Agriculture : National Survey of the Estimation of Agricultural Production
Started in August and continuing through September, the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR), performs a National Survey of the Estimation of Agricultural Production (ENEPA) on the spring campaign, 2014.

This survey from a sample drawn from the database of the General Census of Agriculture, will enable the Ministry to collect reliable and relevant data on the production of main crops and livestock of the main species exploited in Haiti.

The results may be useful to the State, NGOs, international organizations, the University, the Agricultural Organisations, farmers and breeders in the decision-making on policies, strategies and interventions part of the development of the agricultural sector and rural world.

Preliminary results of this investigation will be presented in the last quarter 2014.

This survey is carried out by the Sub-structure of Agricultural Statistics and Computing (SSSAI) and Agricultural Regional Directorates of the Ministry, with the technical support from the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) of the Department of Agriculture of the United States of America (USDA) and the financial support of the Government of Haiti and of rogram Participating Agency Service Agreement (PASA) of the International Development Agency of the United States of America (USAID).
