For this first day, Sandra Jules, the Mayor of Petit Goâve distributed in the presence of the judge of Peace, Me Winy Fred, a financial support to a hundred of merchants. It is the Committee of merchant victims, who established the list of beneficiaries provided to the Mayor.

Sandra Jules has insisted that it was not a repair, or any compensation, but a gesture of solidarity as had been promised by local authorities, after this dramatic event where the merchants lost everything.

This Tuesday the Town Hall of Petit-Goâve, expects to receive another group of merchants and that until all victims benefiting of solidarity support.
