Haiti - Politic : The President and Prime Minister visited Laye

Tuesday President Michel Martelly, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, visited Laye (communal section of Jérémie), as part of the celebration of Our Lady of the Nativity, the patron saint of this locality, an opportunity for residents to express their attachment.

The Head of State, who pledged his full support and that of the Government to the citizens of Laye, took advantage of its passage to invite the population to adopt a behavior worthy of real fighters, in order to face the daily challenges of life.

In addition, the President reiterated the determination of his administration to create more infrastructure in Grand Anse, citing as examples the construction of three new bridges in Jérémie and the opening soon of two community restaurants in the area.

Furthermore, the Head of State, concerned with education, gave formal instructions to complete without delay the construction of the National School of Laye.
