Haiti - Justice : Two Haitians found dead in the River Massacre...

Monday, Haitian and Dominican authorities have launched an investigation following the discovery of two Haitian corpses in the river Massacre (Northeast of Haiti), which separates the two border towns of Dajabón the Dominican side and Ouanaminthe on the Haitian side.

On site were present present officers of the Sub-Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Dominican police, Assistant Attorney Ambiorix Freddy Guzman and forensic pathologist José Manuel Rodríguez. The National Police of Dajabón stated that the National Police of Haiti of Ouanaminthe and the Public Ministry were jointly in charge of the investigation.

The first body was found floating in the waters of the river in the sector 32 of Dajabón and identified, it would be Jean-Pierre, a young man of 23 years. At a short distance, a second body was found on the shore, headless and mutilated arm, making it impossible for the moment identification.

The authorities presume that the bodies were thrown into the river and floating downstream to the place where they were found.
