Fundraising for Haiti Hotel School
On Saturday, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) closed at "Quartier Latin", a series of evenings fundraising, implemented by MCIT, under a memorandum of understanding to share recipes, knowledge and continuing education, with several international experts, such as the World Central Kitchen. The Prime Minister has welcomed this initiative, which will improve the quality of services for hotels and restaurants in the country and recalled that the development of the tourism industry throughout the ten departments of Haiti was one of the major priorities administration Martelly/Lamothe.

VP of American Airlines, visit the Citadelle Henry
Sunday Monique Rocourt the Minister of Culture, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourisne and Art Torno, Vice President of American Airlines made a visit at the Citadelle Henry.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Tourism had a working session with the airlines Sunrise Airways and Tourtug'Air, about strategies for developing air connections for new tours between Haiti, Curacao, Dominican Republic and Aruba.

On Wednesday, a delegation of "Country Crest" working in the field of agriculture, accompanied by Damian Meaning of "Soul of Haiti" visited the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Training (IFORHT) this visit took place as part of the accompaniment of Country Crest in achieving a spice garden and fruit for the kitchen of application of the IFORHT. Training for tourist guides of Jacmel
On Thursday, the Minister of Tourism has received the team of Cuban trainers of the agency Formatur, in Haiti for one month to train tourist guides of Jacmel. This training is part of a bilateral collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism of Haiti and that of Cuba.

Documentary on Haitian tourism sector
Thursday, Ms. Émilie Jessy Menos, the Secretary of State for Tourism met with a pool of journalists from French Guiana in Haiti to make a documentary on Haitian tourism. These professionals of the Guyanese press, are also planning to create a partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Sports and Civic Action.
