On Monday, the Town Hall of Petion-Ville inaugurated the municipal Lycée of Thomassin 32 freshly painted, two classrooms fully equipped with wood school furniture locally manufactured [bamboo and pine wood] and modern toilets. This project was funded and directed by the Paraguayan contingent of the Minustah, to the tune of 35,000 USD.

These two classrooms are added to a further twenty intended to host, in double shifts, several hundred students of the fundamental school and of the secondary section.

In his words for the circumstance, Amasan Staco, the Head of the education department of the Town Hall, who spoke on behalf of the President of the Municipal Council of Petionville, praised the Paraguayan contingent for this achievement adding "The Town Hall is always open arms to these projects, who have fot objective of developing the town."

The head of the Paraguayan contingent, took the opportunity to present various projects carried out in Haiti since his arrival in 2004 in the country.
