In a press release the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, informs the population of the existence of a plan, of some members of the opposition, which provides to attempt the lives of students and certain individuals for political purposes, to place the burden on the government.

"The Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) informs the public opinion, that according to reliable information available to it, some members of the opposition are about to cause a situation of disorder by forcing schools to release their students in order, once in the streets of be left to themselves and be subjected to acts of aggression and violence. They even have as plan to attempt the life of these students and some politicians to place the burden on the government.

Those bygone practices as dangerous as despicable, will not, under no circumstances, be tolerated by the police and judicial authorities responsible for ensuring the safety of lives and property and to maintain the public peace. The security forces have therefore received formal and clear instructions to crack with the utmost rigor against the project both macabre and criminal.

While reaffirming its determination to bring order and peace throughout the country, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security asks school principals to take all necessary steps, as educators to protect their students against any pernicious manipulation. The Ministry further invites the parents to ensure that their children are not used as political tools by demagogues and thugs, which want absolutly to cast a pall over the country"
